Joanna Coke’s work:

Joanna has a strong background in figurative and landscape painting.  She works in many media such as acrylics, pastels, watercolors and oils, combining them in her mixed media artworks.  In 2009, Joanna participated in a joint artists' exhibit of American and Russian artists, while teaching workshops in Novgorod, Russia.

“Imagine painting to techno mixed music in a night club setting at the HUB downtown Sarasota. Imagine beating or carving thick paint onto a 48" x 60" canvas with areas as thick as 1/2".  And then imagine completing it in 47 minutes in front of an audience of about 200 people.”
